TLBP completed streetscape planning for Riverside Drive (Sancola to Clybourn) in 2022, with a coalition of community and public agency partners. This work represents a culmination of a multi-year comprehensive streetscape visioning process which began in 2014 – engaging hundreds of residents, property and business owners and stakeholders. This community-led vision for the “Toluca Lake Village” is now set to be incorporated in the Southeast Valley Community Plan Update.
Scope
The streetscape plan includes design elements such as medians, bulb-outs, street trees and landscape, wayfinding and art programs, sidewalk treatment, street furnishings and pedestrian lighting.
